Media Consumption

Hello, hello! It's been a couple of days and no, I have not been working on the site. But that's okay, sometimes you need a break- A moment to rest. Especially since I go back to school in like 8 days, I'm allowing myself to enjoy some free time instead of force myself into a project. I do what I want to do!!

Yesterday I spent my day reading and playing some video games. I'm currently reading this book called 'Kiss me, Judas' by Will Christopher Baer. I'm almost 200 pages in, I'm feeling confused on how this book will go still, so far I think it's decent. Not good but ok. And I was playing the OG Silent Hill on my PSVita, I just made it to the hospital in game. I'm having fun playing, my favorite part so far is the cutscene with Low poly Jesus LOL. Also played some stupid ass Roblox games while listening to Youtube videos.
I keep watching this Youtuber, Amanda Rae. She was born into a mormon, poly-incest cult called 'The Order'. It's very eye opening, she also goes on other channels to talk about the cult. It's very disturbing, yet interesting at the same time. It's like a train-wreck I can't look away from.
You can watch one of her videos HERE

Well, off I go to play Silent Hill! Ta-ta! :)

Visit from Auntie!

Hello! Before you get mad at me, (which no one gives a shit but ok) August 28th ended like 51 minutes ago, okay? So lets just pretend it's August 28th. My aunt came over today, she's still here since she's sleeping over. Tonight we sat down and watched The Long Walk. At the end we both ended up crying...It was a very good movie, and at some point I hope to read the book- Even though it's written by Stephen King. Me and Mr. King's media have an odd relationship. I've read only a couple of his books, one being Carrie and the other being a small illustrative novel about a werewolf harrassing a town (I can't remember the name and I'm too lazy to look at my bookshelf to check). And somehow the n-word is dropped in both books. There's no black people mentioned in either of the books, just saying the N-word for the fuck of it. Sometimes it's hard to be a poc horror fan. And don't get me started on The Shining, I watched the movie- It was alright and I actually do want to read the book. The thing is that Stephen King geneuinely believes the Dad from The Shining isn't a genuinely bad person. Why? Because Jack (If I'm remembering his name correctly) is basically a representation of Mr. King or something, basically him venting his frustrations about fatherhood. And by god have I only heard the horrors that are the IT books.
And just to let you all know, I've gotten all of my Stephen King books second hand- Actually I've gotten all my Stephen King books from book boxes now that I think about it. Long like the book boxes, that's how I got Blood Meridian for free :)

I have to get to bed soon! My Mom's god-daughter (so...my god-sister I guess) asked my Mom to babysit her 4-month old. I'm gonna come with her, I honestly follow my Mom everywhere lol. That's why she calls me her 'Road-Dog'. But I just like car rides, I love putting on my headphones and looking out the window while I think about silly scenarios or animation memes of my OCs!

Also, I'm so hyped for the new Meatcanyon video tomorrow where Tugboat and Hunger go against Jeff the Killer!!! I love his animations, and me and my mom watch all of his Papa Meat videos. I even have the "Ozempic took this mans life shirt."

Well, goodnight. I'm off to bed now (I hope).

Mood:Sleepy...And Lazy.

Nothing Day

I didn't do much today, I didn't even work on the site. I'm feeling very tired, my messed up sleep schedule seems to be getting to me. Sigh. But it's okay! I still love my wonderful little site, and I came up with some more worldbuilding lore for We Can Be Heroes. I've been on an Olive and Andy kick recently. Olive and Andy are two of the four main characters in We Can Be Heroes. The two ladies date eachother and their complete opposite-ness from eachother is very fun to work with.

I watched a movie today...Basketcase. It was so bad, but the good kind of bad horror movie that makes you laugh. I loved the Casey character, it's such a shame she doesn't seem to be in too many movies! :( OH MY GOD SHE DIED IN 2018?! Oh my goodness sorry I just searched her up and found out, rets in peace Beverly Bonner.

I wish I had more to tell my little site, but truly not much has happened. I start school again as a junior in 12 days. I'm both scared and excited for that buy maybe that's a story for another time.
Goodnight to everyone, and for those who are going back to school soon pop some melatonin and try and get back on schedule. Schedules are give for you they give your life order and make you productive! :D

Trial and Error, Much Error

My last entry was actually at 12am last night, which is why the date hasn't changed. Right now I'm writing at 7pm. The Guestbook took a much shorter time than expected, I actually thought I'd have to code an entire site for it- I finished it last night around 3am when I couldn't sleep. The About Page is taking me time, it's a completely different display type that I wasn't used to, but I'm finding it fun and much more pleasing to work with than the box display.

I have this comic idea that I'd like to turn into a little project soon enough. It follows a protagonist who is afraid of what's in their closet, they hear whining and pained sounds that remind them of themselves as a child. Only when they seek help from their friends do they decide to look at what's in their closet. I have more for the idea but you'll have to stay put for when I actually make it ;)

Speaking of projects I need to work on that backpack my friend's Dad gave me. My friend and his Dad got me a white backpack and some fabric markers. I need to start sketching out the ideas for the bag- I know I want to base it off my series, WCBH-But I don't have much of an affirmative of what I'd put where.

Today I watched a youtube video about this social experiment where a group of boys, 11-12 were put into a house to live by themselves. They of course had a camera crew, psycologist, and they could see their parents whenever they wanted. But it was a don't speak unless spoken to thing for the adults, and they wouldn't intervene unless there was the risk of safety. Day one the boys trashed the house, painting and writing on the wall, food all over the floor and such. Some tried to keep order while others rampaged once they realized they could do as they wish. At one point they even tried to kill a hedgehog, but were stoppped by adults.

There's also a girls version, where a bunch of girls are put into a house by themselves for five days, I think I'll watch that one tomorrow.

First Entry

As is known today I finished the main page and this journal page here. Although I'm not as happy with the main page, at some point- Once the rest of sub-sections I have promised myself are finished I'd like to re-do the main page. But for now it suffices. :)

I've been fixated on working on this site honestly, to the point it consumes all of my waking moments, are for most of the time I'm awake I should say. And I think a lot about what I'm going to do with the site when I'm trying to sleep. But I mean, I feel like it's motivating me as well. I'm not just sitting on my ass all day, producing nothing. I'm making something that's making me happy, and it's motivating me to do other things I love as well. So is it even bad? Or is it one of those things you have to weigh?

Now I need to figure out what part of the site I should work on next!! Ok, ok- The About me is a very important part of any website. But it might take me a while, I also might need to sit down and jot some ideas. Maybe I'll work on my about me and my guest page tomorrow. Yeah, that sounds about right!

Goodnight~! I'm going to try and read a bit before I go to bed!
